I get very excited about giving gifts out at Christmas. Not just the gifts under the tree or the Santa sack filled to the brim. I do get a little carried away with it all. I even do Christmas Eve presents to get the excitement started for the kids, we call them 'Ticklemas Eve' presents, silly but it's what my dad has always nicknamed Christmas Eve. We come home from the church nativity & before settling down for a family movie I hand out these little presents, they are only small gifts for the kids but I wrap them like pass the parcel's to add to the fun & every layer a little sweetie will fall out. I do love seeing the excited faces it really feels good to give gifts.
Another idea is to give little table gifts too. It dresses up your table display & gives your guests an added little treat too. Decorate a little box & fill it with sweets or biscuits. All you need is a little gift box, scissors & glue & you can have fun decorating with paper, ribbon & glitter or even add pine cones & cinnamon sticks.
