Pressed roses project

While I have been on the subject of pink roses, I had a beautiful bunch given to me for my birthday from my friends Karen and Andrew. I decided they were so pretty I wanted to dry and press them to make a picture to keep. Roses take a little longer than a lot of flowers to dry out so they wont be ready to frame until after christmas. They are presently sandwiched between kitchen roll in the middle of a book with heavy boxes on top. So a project for January is to put them into a frame for a keepsake (I will later share the finished result with you).  January will be a busy month for me as I am putting my house on the market ready to move in with my partner. So lots of decluttering to do & a lick or two of paint to sprose the place up. But I will have a nice new piece of art work to take with me to my new home.
